Sometimes the weight you are carrying is too much to sort through alone. One-on-one therapy with Zainab Siddique, a clinical psychologist based in Islamabad, gives you a private, judgement-free space to understand what is happening, why it keeps happening, and what you can do about it.
Who therapy can help
People come to therapy for many reasons. Common ones include:
- Anxiety, worry, panic and overthinking
- Low mood, sadness or feeling stuck
- Stress and burnout at work or at home
- Relationship and family difficulties
- Grief, loss and major life changes
- Low self-esteem and harsh self-criticism
You do not need a diagnosis, or a crisis, to begin. If something is getting in the way of the life you want, that is reason enough.
An evidence-based approach
Zainab's main approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), one of the most widely researched forms of psychological therapy. CBT looks at the links between your thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and gives you practical skills to break unhelpful cycles. Sessions are shaped around you rather than a script, and draw on her clinical training (MS Clinical Psychology, NUST) and supervised hospital experience in Islamabad.
What to expect
Your first session is about listening: what brings you here, what you have tried, and what you would like to be different. Together you agree goals and a plan, and you review progress regularly so the work stays focused. Between sessions you may be given small, practical exercises to try.
Online therapy, wherever you are
Sessions take place online, so you can join from home in Pakistan or anywhere in the world. Everything you share stays confidential.
Therapy is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or thinking of harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number straight away.

For many common difficulties, including anxiety and low mood, research shows online CBT can be as effective as meeting in person. It also saves travel time and lets you join from a space where you feel comfortable.
